JCADA’s ultimate vision is to end intimate partner violence. This starts with education. One of our central services is providing 100% free education training within the Jewish community. These programs range in focus from teen dating violence, reducing tolerance of abuse within Jewish spaces, and increasing collective support for survivors of IPV within the Jewish community. JCADA was founded in 2000 by a coalition of women to provide holistic services for victims of domestic and dating abuse in the Greater Washington area. The goal was to deliver comprehensive services to victims while empowering future generations to develop healthy relationships. Today, JCADA is committed to providing high-quality services to all residents in the DMV area, without regard to race, national origin, ability, background, faith, gender, or sexual orientation.
