Teen Programs

JCADA offers teen programs for students in 6-12th grade. JCADA's signature teen program, thrive, is a two-part workshop series designed to increase knowledge and build skills. JCADA also offers custom teen programming to Jewish schools, organizations, youth groups, synagogues, camps, and more. Please fill out the inquiry form below to request a teen program!

An educational and awareness program designed for students in Jewish organizations grades 6-12.

JCADA’s thrive program is a two-part experiential healthy relationship workshop for students in Jewish organizations, schools, youth groups, or camps. 

This program is designed to create a safe, open environment for students to relate to each other, learn decision-making and conflict-resolution skills, articulate questions and areas of confusion, and learn tools to help themselves and others. 

Students who participate benefit from the exposure to these challenging topics that are essential to a teenager's mental health and overall well-being.

PART 1:
Knowledge Building

Students will learn how to:
 

  • identify healthy, unhealthy, and abusive behaviors 
     

  • recognize support systems including trusted adults, peers, and internet sources
     

  • effectively support friends who are in unhealthy relationships

PART 2:
Skill Building

Students will learn how to:
 

  • identify personal values and understand the importance of values in relationships
     

  • set boundaries in a variety of circumstances
     

  • ask for, answer, and hear consent
     

  • identify self-care activities and create a self-care plan

Middle School

Grades 6th - 8th

Designed to introduce middle school students to concepts surrounding healthy and unhealthy relationships, including friendships and family dynamics. This program  helps students identify trusted adults and learn skills around giving and recieving consent and building boundaries.

Early High School

Designed to bridge the gap between Middle School and High School by incorporating education and activities related to both friendships and romantic/ sexual relationships. This curriculum builds on the Middle School’s introduction to boundaries and consent, helping a friend, and identifying trusted adults.

Grades 9th - 10th

Late High School

Designed to educate high school students on teen dating violence, consent, how to help a friend, and how to utilize the resources and supportive people in their lives. Students build on the Middle School and Early High School curriculum, which lays for the foundation for how to identify trusted adults, build and maintain boundaries, and develop self-care practices.

Grades 11th - 12th
